• A study by De Gemeente Amsterdam found that an active socio-cultural life is considered important or very important by 91% of the international population.

• Word-of-mouth (WOM) is a highly effective, low-cost marketing strategy for museums, driven by superior credibility, trust, and personal recommendations over traditional advertising. (McKinsey & Company, Academia.edu)

• The 2021/2022 InterNations Expat Insider surveys consistently ranked the Netherlands in the bottom 10 for "Ease of Settling In".

• Research by the Netherlands Institute for Social Research (SCP) found that over 50% of migrants/internationals do not find the Dutch to be very hospitable, often feeling like outsiders.

• Official research on income brackets for international residents in the Netherlands, primarily produced by Statistics Netherlands (CBS), shows that foreign-born populations are concentrated in specific, often polarized, income sectors, with a significant number in high-income roles.
